In the heart of the world-famous Caves of Han, the immense Hall of the Dome were illuminated to the colors of the Chinese flag, and hosted various festivities, including Chinese dancers and launching of sky lanterns.

The Caves of Han, in the Belgian Ardennes, are among the most famous natural caves in Europe. They cover 17 kilometers of known underground galeries and halls, formed by the river Lesse, which is completely engulfed into the hill, and crosses the hill to flow out on the other side. For the China-EU Light Bridge, the Hall of the Dome shall be illuminated in red.  At this occasion, festivities were organized in the Hall on Saturday March 3, including :
– Show of Chinese dancers
– Launching of sky lanterns
– Music and various animations
After the festivities, invitees were offered a Chinese buffet in the restaurant « Le Pavillon », at the exit of the Caves. For the occasion, the Pavillon was decorated in Chinese style.
