The three main crossings of the paths in the Stari Grad Plain were illuminated with Chinese red lights.

The Stari Grad Plain on the Croatian island of Hvar is the best preserved Greek land division on the Mediterranean. Today that division is visible in the network of paths and dry stone walls.
Wishing to contribute to 2018 EU – China Light Bridge, the three main crossings of the paths in the Stari Grad Plain will be illuminated with Chinese red lights. Out of these three, the central one is the omphalos – central point of the Plain.
The island of Hvar is a unique island in the Adriatic Sea. The island can be called a UNESCO island thanks to its rich heritage. Along with the Stari Grad Plain and historical centre of Stari Grad, under the protection of UNESCO are other four intangible phenomena.
