Unique celebration of the EU-China Tourism Year on the historical Trsat Castle.

Trsat Castle is a unique place with a long history important for the city of Rijeka and Croatia. It’s situated on a hill overlooking the city and visible from the see as well as from the neighboring cities. In honour of the EU-China Tourism Year the whole castle was iluminated in red to evoke the Chinese flag. This colorful celebration of the EU – China cooperation was visible not only from the city but also from the see, from the air and from the close-by neighboring cities.
