6TH EUROPEAN CONGRESS ON RURAL TOURISM

The 2018 Edition – 6th European Congress on Rural Tourism will focus on this internationalization of rural tourism in an European and worldwide context, alongside the following main blocks:
• International markets and sales – what does the customer expect and how to reach him
• Human resources – skills, competences, form of employment
• Opportunities for valorisation and added value of local assets through international RT
• Product definition and development.
Paying special attention to the two most dynamic macro-regions that generate increasing tourism flows to and from Europe:
• Asia (especially China)
• Américas (N/C/S America)
Presentations and discussion will have a generic and conceptual level, however including practical examples or cases when possible. The final objective remains achieving practical outcomes and results through
• Networking amongst participants
• Better mutual understanding of expectation and needs
• Exchange of knowledge and experience
• Set-up of multi- or bi-lateral contacts and cooperations
The Congress is deditated to the EU-China Tourism year and the Centenary of Lithuania.
